कौवा : कोयल दीदी मुझे बताओ कैसे गीत सुनती हो भेद भरी क्या बाट है जिसमे जग से आदर पाती हो क्यो मुझको धुत्कारा जाता लोग बंध कर लेते कान मेरे बोल न प्यारे लगते हम दोनों जब एक समान कोयल : हम दोनों तन के काले है बोल नही लेकीन ek समान बोल तुम्हारा कडुवा लगता मेरी मधुसी मीठी तान jus felt like writing this poem....we had it in hindi text in 6th or 7th grade.....my apologies for any mistakes..wrote as i remembered it...n sorry for "ek"...cant seem to get it in hindi....dont know why....

distant dream...

its nice to hear ur voice, feels good to hear u laugh, its difficult not being able to hold ur hand..... its very difficult when i cant reach out to u... never imagined life could be so cruel.... but if u promise u there at the end of tunnel.. i can walk thru the storm n face the thunder to come to u.. i dont mind the silence, i dont mind the distance, if i know at the end of the road u waiting for me..... the road seems unsurmountable very steep and high, m afraid to look down, feel dizzy of the heights, i know u there not to catch me now, or to hold me now but is the hope there, that someday u ll stand by me if we make it thru... its tough wading thru the ocean, the tides are against us, nothing seems right except the tiny flicker of light at the end... i want to believe in rainbows, and i want to find my pot of gold.. it seems like a mirage though like a distant dream.. waiting for the sun to come up, and waiting for the snow to melt, so that the earth can nourish the seed, and the ...

happy birthday mithila....

Today my kid sister is turns 22……I can’t believe it how fast she has grown up…I know I know she is just three years younger than me….but my birthday each year does not affect me as much as hers…..i cant digest that at the end of six months she is going to be a doctor……when did she grow up so fast I ask myself….its as if things happened behind my back ,and now I am caught unawares…… she is my best friend….our names "rhythm and mithila" feel as if joined....like they were always meant to be together......that one can't exist without the other....just can't imagine how life would have been without her....she has been with me through thick and thin ,giving me support even at times when I was wrong and things backfired…..she did not give me a smug “I told u so lecture” at those times and would be by my side and make me lie down in the comfort of her lap......at times she has been like an older sister I have always wanted…..and she has been like an elder sister at time...
