yesterday was the felicitation of our TEAM INDIA for winning the one tournament in australia....
i was disappointed to see jus the one day squad being felicitated....
kumble, dravid, ganguly, laxman ,r p singh, jaffer were no where to be seen...

i m not against BCCI felicitating the team or against giving them money...but i felt the test squad shd also have got their due...where BCCI spent 10 crores amongst one day squad it cud have spent few more..or 10 crores cud have been divided amongst the entire team.....
so true....the whole tournament so so stressful..it was no less stressful for the test team...and had there not been major umpiring goof ups in sydney which we lost just coz of sheer bad luck....m sure we all remember how in the last few minutes of the game micheal clark got 3 wickets...else that match wud surely have been a draw....and so india cud have easily equalled the series if not won the test series.
the achievement of the test team shd have been acknowledged...
wen false allegations were made on harbhajan kumble alongwith the rest of the test team stood by him and urged BCCI to do the same...
playing under so much pressure and winning the Perth test was no simple task.....captaincy of kumble had been splendid throughout the test series....when the chips were down he was there motivating the youngsters....all seniors with their experience and keeping cool head over their shoulders took responsibility and stood up to the task....not letting the youngsters get discouraged....winning the perth test was the turning point in the tournament.....the win at Perth showed team india that aussies were not invinceble...and gave our boys the much needed boost and confidence....the seeds of the one day victory had been sown in the test series...
as ayaz memon aptly put it WITHOUT THE HEROISM OF TEST TEAM .....WOULD THE VICTORY IN ONE DAY BEEN POSSIBLE ?
