happy birthday....

Rahul Dravid wont bring a song to a spectators heart. He can even be sometimes tedious to watch. But he is the kind, whose presence every team is grateful for, in hours of crisis. The true indications of Dravid's greatness come when batting is more than driving on the up, when the ball curls in the air and fizzes off the pitch, and when survival becomes an end in itself. To India's enormous fortune, just about every time a situation has called for a batsman to stand up and be counted, Dravid has been there. Almost always.

Some are born to greatness. Rahul Dravid has acquired it. In some ways that is a greater achievement.
