Yesterday, Dr Varghese Kurien died at age of 90...
What I know about this man, is that he is FATHER OF WHITE REVOLUTION (Operation FLOOD)....
man whose vision created AMUL....made india the LARGEST PRODUCER OF MILK IN WORLD...
helped farmers in India achieve economic independence..
this post is a tribute to this great man...India thanks you for what you have done....you will always be remembered for your contribution.....
Dr Kurien, you can smile from heavens above every time someone relishes amul butter, cheese and ghee (my favourite amul products) knowing you are responsible for that smile, that familiar taste, of AMUL The Taste of India :) :)
